HSP Latin America is Sell-out Success for Chile
Registration is now closed for this year’s High Security Printing™ (HSP) Latin America conference, which will take place in Santiago, Chile, from 3-5 June. As with previous HSP conferences, Reconnaissance has had to close registration weeks ahead of the event due to its popularity.
The pre-conference seminar relating to identity will see Michael van Gestel (Onfido) and Claudio Perez (Entrust) carry out an in-depth investigation into the statistics and findings of Onfido’s 2024 Identity Fraud Report, highlighting the emerging behaviour of fraudsters in the modern world, the current methodology employed by organised fraud networks, and the potential solutions to counter this problem.
The welcome address will be given by Sergio Henríquez of Casa de Moneda de Chile (CdM), followed, in the first session, by Javier Espinoza from the Servicio de Registro Civil e Identificación, presenting on the landscape in Chile for secure documents, and Ana Maria Lacerda from the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (Brazil) talking about the country’s new ID card.
