Nominations Invited for First International Optical Technologies Awards
The spotlight is on innovation for optical security features in ID and secure document protection, as entries open for the inaugural ‘Excellence in Optical Technologies Awards’.
These awards recognise outstanding advances and technical achievements in optical security features. From holography, microlens arrays, plasmonics, nanogratings, and polarisation effects, to cutting-edge print-generated features and integrated digital solutions, the awards celebrate technologies that enhance document security, authentication, and anticounterfeiting measures.
Organised by the International Optical Technologies Association (IOTA) – formerly the International Hologram Manufacturers Association – this global initiative acknowledges those driving innovation in safeguarding passports, ID cards, banknotes, certificates, brand protection labels, and other high-security documents.
The awards will be presented at the Optical & Digital Document Security™ (ODDS) conference, taking place 15-17 September in Warsaw, Poland.
